New Corporate Patrons

CoStarWe are delighted to welcome CoStar as our latest Corporate Patron, generously donating £5,000 a year to help support our key initiatives and programmes. Our Corporate Patrons are vital to our success and we value the support and link to industry that they provide. CoStar participated in the evening lecture series for the first time in January. Their lecture not only provided REP students with an insight into a current topic but also gave them an understanding of the work that CoStar undertakes and its wider applications. The firm will kindly host the forthcoming RG10 Profile Talk at their offices in Portman Square, central London, and will enjoy priority representation at the annual RREF Careers Fair in October.

"It is vital for CoStar to engage with the next generation of commercial property professionals. Enjoying close ties with Reading and Henley Business School is clearly important. Our passion for innovation is built on collaboration. Supporting RREF and bringing together the School of Real Estate & Planning with the wider property sector is a good fit for CoStar.

Being a universal provider of property information, analysis and property-focused news good communication is integral to our success. We aim to improve the links between the wider property sector and RREF. With RREF's powerful alumni network, its relationships with the country's leading School of Real Estate & Planning and CoStar's excellent reach we can achieve something of great value together." Paul Marples, Managing Director.

RedevcoRedevco have recently become a Corporate Patron and made an additional donation of £5,000 to fund bursaries for REP students experiencing financial hardship. It is thanks to the generosity of donors like Redevco that we are able to offer financial support to deserving students.

RREF is committed to ensuring that financial means is not a barrier to studying real estate at Reading and are thrilled that Redevco share this vision.

"Redevco is a European real estate company with circa 700 properties and a portfolio valued at circa €7.5 Bn. Corporate giving has always been an important aspect of Redevco's culture and is focused on the education and living environment of the less privileged.

Redevco chose to support RREF because of its connection to the leading European real estate university and because RREF's hardship fund helps students to overcome financial difficulties and gain access to an excellent education. Moreover, RREF's mentoring and internship schemes also ensure that students from less privileged backgrounds gain exposure to working in a real estate environment." Simon Smith, Managing Director.
