George Fiennes Memorial Bursary to provide support for Real Estate & Planning students

In the last academic year we awarded over £77,000 in financial support to current students, our highest annual total to date. This took the form of hardship grants, bursaries, awards to recognise academic excellence and a PhD Studentship - all of which were funded by donations. There will always be a need to support Real Estate & Planning students and we must ensure that our bursary provision, in particular, keeps pace with increasing demand.

We are delighted to announce that a number of friends and former colleagues of Reading alumnus, George Twisleton Wykeham Fiennes (BSc Estate Management, 1973), have generously contributed towards a bursary fund in his memory.

The George Fiennes Memorial Bursary will assist Real Estate & Planning students facing financial difficulty. The recipients of the bursary will also benefit from professional development opportunities and personal support through an internship and/or mentor linked to the fund.
