Continuing Support For RREF

We are delighted to welcome back DTZ as a returning Corporate Patron. A global leader in Property Services, DTZ, along with 13 other companies, has committed to a generous £5,000 annual donation to help support our key student initiatives and programmes.

In recognition of their support, we offer Corporate Patrons thHBSe opportunity to forge closer links with the School of Real Estate & Planning and its exceptional students. They enjoy representation at the annual Careers Fair each October and are invited to participate in the ever popular Evening Lecture Series. At these, representatives from the firm deliver a lecture to current students and also have the opportunity to discuss their graduate recruitment programmes.

Our longest standing Corporate Patron is CBRE and Martin Samworth, Managing Director - EMEA, has grown increasingly involved with our activities through his firm's support of RREF. Martin has recently made a personal commitment to RREF as a Pioneer. He was kind enough to explain why he has chosen to become a Pioneer donor:

"Although not a Graduate of Reading myself, I have personally and professionally built a very close affinity with the University and with Reading Real Estate Foundation (RREF). Becoming a RREF Pioneer was an opportunity for me to try and help others to benefit from the tremendous start that the University's Real Estate courses can give to young people in an industry that I have loved and enjoyed for all of my professional career."

Martin is in good company, as both David Atkins, CEO Hammerson, and Mark Ridley, CEO UK Savills, leading figures at two of our other Corporate Patrons, continue their personal Pioneer donations to RREF. We are extremely grateful to all our new donors.
