Alumni Board members lead the way with their support of RREF

Pioneer_pinAs a registered charity we rely on the support of our extensive network of alumni across the globe, as well as our links to industry, to continue and further develop our work.

We are delighted that our Alumni Board members continue to lead the way with their support of RREF. A further three Board members have recently chosen to become RREF Pioneers, each pledging gifts of £1,000 or more each year and we are enormously grateful for their support.

RREF Pioneers are vital to our success; they ensure that we can continue to support real estate and planning education at the University of Reading and build upon its position as a leading centre for real estate teaching and research. We are particularly grateful for regular gifts, like these, which enable us to plan for the future.

"My decision to become a RREF Pioneer recently was driven not only by the belief that it is important to help in giving the next generation opportunities that I have enjoyed following my time at Reading, but also to join a wider group of donors and thereby encourage others to think about doing the same." Paul Cable (Estate Management, 1979) European Funds Director, Alpha Real Capital

''In the current economic climate it is vitally important to support an organisation that so clearly offers young people a better chance to get going in life and actively contributes to Reading's ever-growing reputation.'' Stafford Lancaster (BSc Land Management, 1989) Director, Delancey Estates

Donor pin week - 30 April - 7 May 2012

RREF is delighted to be involved in celebrating University Donor Pin Week (30 April - 7 May), a national initiative aimed at raising awareness of charitable support for higher education.

We give donor pins to our Pioneers and Friends to help raise visibility of their philanthropy which supports our work. Reading is one of many leading universities to give donor pins to its supporters - Bristol, Birmingham, Bath and Warwick are amongst many others. They will also be inviting their donors to make a special effort to wear pins during this week.
