Annual telethon secures vital support for students

ThankYouDiscover this year’s Annual Telethon total and the importance of the RREF Annual Fund.

Over a six week period in February and March RREF held its third annual telethon raising money to support the RREF Annual Fund.

Five of our current students spoke to over 350 alumni, 15% of alumni contacted are currently based outside of the UK highlighting the global network, and we are extremely grateful to those alumni who collectively pledged an amazing £49,000. This generous support enables RREF to continue to support current and future students in the year to come and to plan for the future.

Supporting current and future students, the RREF Annual Fund is central to providing the outstanding financial and career development support offered in order to ensure that Reading remains an outstanding place to study real estate, helping to develop outstanding graduates regardless of background.

At the heart of the Annual Fund is the collective philanthropy of our alumni – coming together to give back to Reading – and the commitment to give regularly to ensure that RREF’s activities can continue to provide that vital support to students from the UK and internationally. Thanks to the regular support of our Friends and Pioneers, we can build futures, together.

The telethon allows us to connect with our alumni and provides our student callers the opportunity to share their experiences of Reading today with our alumni, and to gain vital advice on entering the industry as a Reading graduate. From many of these conversations it is obvious that Reading continues to have a profound impact on the lives of our alumni.

The Reading Real Estate Foundation is extremely grateful to our donors who supported real estate & planning education at the University of Reading by giving to the RREF Annual Fund.
